Building the world’s first Food Metaverse, OneRare aims to celebrate global cuisines and bring the global F&B industry to the blockchain, in an immersive and engaging game format. Spanning across four areas — Farm, Farmer’s Market, Kitchen & Playground — foodies & gamers can discover ways to play, earn, collect and battle.
Founded by Supreet Raju & Gaurav Gupta, OneRare is backed by notable angels from the blockchain space — including Sebastien Borget from The Sandbox, Sandeep Nailwal from Polygon, Nischal Shetty from WazirX, Shashwat Gupta from Altcoinbuzz, Tarun Jaswani from Unbound Finance, Prakash Somosundaram from Enjinstarter, Edmond Truong from Formation Fi, Tamar Menteshashvili from Solana, Abhinav Sarangi from LEGO Games, and Ravindra Kumar from Frontier, amongst others.
OneRare opened it’s private sale to an overwhelming response from the blockchain community, leading to a heavily oversubscribed round. We also received investment from top-tier funds in the cryptospace including Arkstream Capital, KuCoin Community Chain, Momentum 6, X21 Digital, StableNode, Exnetwork Capital, Everse Capital, Kangaroo Capital, Tag Ventures, Maven Capital, , Skyman Ventures, 1010 Capital, CSP DAO, FF Ventures, and Lucid Blue Ventures & ZBS Capital amongst others.
OneRare has also partnered with Polygon & Enjin as Chain Partners, to support the growth of our foodverse.
With this private funding, OneRare will seek to propel their development, using funds for the expansion of our team, product development, and expanding the scope of our metaverse. The influx of capital will also allow us to fuel our efforts to onboard Chefs & Restaurants to Web3.
Going forward, OneRare is gearing towards public launch of the OneRare Utility Token hosted by TrustPad & Enjinstarter launchpads, along with a pre-IDO on Genesis Shards.
